How Jogging Can Increase Your Height

Jogging is one of the world’s most common forms of exercise. This is because it is one of the best ways to see quick results and gain cardiovascular fitness. Jogging can make you stronger and healthier than walking. It is relieves stress and is used to treat many health conditions, such as heart disease and arthritis. You can jog anywhere and at anytime. The only special equipment you need is a good pair of running shoes and a water bottle. Jogging is also an effective way to grow taller.

As with any aerobic exercise, jogging helps your body grow in a couple of different ways. When you exercise, your body releases human growth hormone. The more aerobic the exercise, the more hormones are released. Additionally, jogging strengthens your entire cardiovascular system. This increases your blood flow, insuring that the growth hormone effectively reaches all of your body. Also, jogging builds muscle tone, which is essential to supporting bones as you are growing taller. Finally, jogging relieves stress and gives you the positive reinforcement you need to visualize yourself taller.

If you need to lose weight then you should try jogging. In fact, the American Council on Exercise suggest that a 160 pound person can burn almost 12.5 calories every minute they jog. A person weighing more will burn more calories and a person weighing less will burn less. Of course, this number also varies with the intensity of your activity.

Your doctor can tell you if you are healthy enough to begin jogging. You should always ask a doctor because there is a slight risk of minor injury if you jog incorrectly. You must always stretch before running. Invest in comfortable running shoes and socks. If you are a novice or out of shape, you should begin with a brisk walk, jogging in place, or jumping jacks. This will help you build up your endurance so that you can take longer, more effective jogs.

You should also know that jogging requires discipline. If you stick with your program and jog correctly, you will see improvements in your time, distance, energy, and strength. When you begin, do not worry about distance as much as time. After a few weeks, you will find that you can go further and further in the same amount of time. This is because you will be building muscle which helps your body grow taller and stronger. Increase the running time in increments, but be sure not to increase it by more than 10% per week or you risk over-straining yourself.

Jogging is most effective if you have the proper technique. Make sure you stretch out your entire body before every run. When you are just beginning, you should first try a brisk walk or slow run. As your endurance increases, work into a jog. When you run you should land on your heal and then roll your foot so that you begin the next step by springing off your toes. Also, keep your back straight and erect, though you may find it necessary to lean into a hill occasionally.

Always keep yourself comfortable when you are jogging. Make sure you have cool water with you to fend off dehydration. Dehydration can limit growth and cause injury. Wear shoes that will not give you blister combined with thick running socks. If you happen to get a blister, put petroleum jelly on it and wear thicker socks.

When you perform aerobic exercises like jogging you are stimulating overall growth. Jogging greatly increases the amount of human growth hormone and increases circulation. There may be no better way to ensure that these hormones reach all your body. Also, jogging gives you the strength and fitness that you need to increase your height.

Chemicals in Plastics: Emasculating Our Boys

Additives from plastic water and soda bottles are one of the factors driving an epidemic of young men who have lost their drive to excel, according to a doctor-researcher. Leonard Sax says the synthetic estrogens found in these bottles are bringing precocious puberty to girls and severely affecting many boys.

In his 2007 book “Boys Adrift,” Sax describes five major factors contributing to what he calls a growing epidemic of unmotivated boys and underachieving young men. One of these five is environmental estrogens from drinks stored in plastic bottles, including baby bottles. Baby toys and pacifiers have contained the stuff too. What stuff? BPA and phthalates, used to soften and condition the plastic. Plastic bottles with recycling #1, used for bottled water and soda, are a key culprit.

This is not a surprise. There’s been a debate among scientists about how much of these chemicals is harmful. Animal studies pinpointed the amount needed to cause cancer; the industry used that as a benchmark, allowing trace amounts that supposedly aren’t enough to cause cancer.

He poses the question: does taking estrogen affect boys and men? In recent years many Americans have been getting their water out of plastic bottles. And soda has been sold in plastic bottles rather than aluminum cans. As a result, Americans find themselves in a big experiment on this question, does taking estrogen affect boys and men. Aside from whether the plastic additives cause cancer, Sax says he believes they are causing delayed puberty and lost motivation.

The result of this, along with four other factors, is affecting a population of men who haven’t grown up, says Sax. He cites some interesting studies. One looks at men in the age group of 35 to 40. Normally, men this age are married. In fact, only 25 years ago, only 8 percent of American men in this age group had never married. But as of 2006 that 8 percent had nearly tripled. It was up to 22 percent and still rising rapidly. (He cites Eduardo Porter and Michelle O’Donnell, “Facing Middle Age with No Degree and No Wife,” New York Times, Aug. 6, 2006.)

The proportion of men aged 18-35 living at home with parents or relatives has doubled in the last 30 years. Meanwhile 36 percent of babies in the United States in 2004 were born to unmarried women. These statistics cut across all demographic groups.

Congress, through the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is banning phthalates from products sold for use by children under 12 as of August, 2009. This includes baby bottles and pacifiers.

But the Food and Drug Administration is the agency in charge of food and drink containers like water bottles, and it is choosing to believe the 11 industry-funded studies showing small amounts of BPA are safe. (There are 104 independently funded studies showing it is hazardous, according to Catherine Zandonella, MPH, of The Green Guide, an online magazine.)

Therefore, let the buyer beware. Avoid beverages in plastic bottles (#1, 3, or 7 on the bottom, if you want to check). Especially, avoid allowing the full bottles to get warm, a condition in which the chemical is more likely to leach. In addition, avoid drinking soda from such bottles because the acid will leach the chemical out. And avoid warming food in the microwave in plastic containers.

The other four factors in the epidemic of men who don’t grow up named by Sax are:

* Requirements to sit still in kindergarten. Children these days are taught to read in kindergarten, at an age when most boys aren’t ready. So they begin to hate school.

* Video games

* Pills to treat ADHD

* The lack of cultural traditions emphasizing transition to manhood

Lengthening your bones is the primary focus of any effort to gain height. Although you may not believe it, you have what it takes to make your body grow. The majority of people who think they have reached their predetermined height actually have the ability to grow up to two more inches. A great way to make this happen is to wear ankle weights.

When you were a young child you had very soft, or non-fused, bones because they were growing very quickly. At this age, your body surges with growth hormone triggering a rapid growth. Also, you are very active at this age. As a child, your body is naturally stretching in a way that demands greater stature. Your body compensates for this activity by growing.

At the end of adolescence, your bones started to fuse. At this point, your growth became increasingly limited. You can overcome this limitation by simulating the exercises that forced your body to grow when you were younger. A great way to do this is by using ankle weights.

Ankle weights help you maximize your workout and stretching to achieve your goals for growing taller. They strengthen and tone the muscles in your legs and lower torso. They increase the resistance as you stretch. Ankle weights stretch out the cartilage between your bones and vertebrae. Also, they help you to take advantage of the bone micro-fractures that happen during high impact activity.

High-impact exercises, like aerobics, can cause tiny breaks in the bones called micro-fractures. You do not notice these breaks and there is rarely ever any pain. Without a follow up, these fractures will heal the bone at its current length. Ankle weights pull these fractures apart and force the body to create new bone growth to fill in the break. This makes the bone longer and increases your height. Also, the greater resistance helps your muscles support this new bone growth. Ankle weights also stretch the cartilage between your joints and thicker cartilage leads to a taller you. However, make sure that you do not wear ankle weights during your aerobic exercises or you may cause injury.

Many ankle weight exercises can help growth. These exercises should be strategically planned to optimize your periods of activity and rest. After you perform a high-impact exercise, like running, you should apply ankle weights. Sit in a chair with your legs hanging freely for about 30 minutes, always keeping your legs still. This makes your bones repair themselves in this lengthened position. You should apply ankle weights again about an hour before you sleep. Sit on a chair with your legs hanging freely and swing each leg one at a time. This gets your bones prepared to use the growth hormones while you sleep and it is a great preparation for sleeping with tension. To sleep with tension you will want to attach ankle weights and then sleep with your lower legs dangling over the edge of your bed. This method is more efficient because it puts all of the effort on your lower legs.

If you want more variety in your routine, there are a few more active exercises that will also help you grow taller. For example, stand with your feet shoulder width apart while you are wearing ankle weights. Make sure your weight is on your heels and your toes are point outward. Then, shift your feet so that the weight of your body is on your toes and they point inward, but make sure you are not straining. Next, raise your foot backward and bend your toes forward and backward. Repeat this action with your opposite foot. Another exercise is to plant one foot in front of the other. Bend your knee and lunge right and left and then repeat with the other leg.

Kicks and Pull-Ups are another way you can use ankle weights to grow. An effective kicking routine should have a minimum of 100 kicks daily and then double that amount every two weeks. Kicks should be done gently and in a controlled manner. There are two different ways to do Pull-Ups. First, when you pull up alternate your position so that your head is in front of the bar and then behind it. Then, pull your legs up to your chest as you hang loose and then drop your legs quickly. That technique will really extend the micro-fractures in your bones to help them grow.

These ankle weight exercises all promote growth. You can use them to follow up a high-impact workout or to optimize the benefits of sleep. Wearing ankle weights makes the nutrition and exercise you give your body more effective and can make you gain height.

Some New Tactics to Get Your Ex Back

It is a very time when the one you love, decides to leave your relationship behind. It takes both parties in a relationship to make it work, and there are never any guarantees.

When one of the two partners gives too much or takes too much, the balance is broken and the breakup becomes imminent. If you are the one that still wishes to salvage the relationship, it may be hard, but there are solutions that can bring your ex back.

It may be difficult, but you need to be the strong one. You should never use begging or acts of desperation in order to attempt to force the other person to return to you so that you can regain the love you have lost.

Your effort will only result in you pushing your ex farther away. Displaying a great deal of confidence is an indicator that you can handle the circumstance without losing your cool. This will also serve you well. If you feel alone and do not know what to do it is your business and no one elses.

It is preferable to minimize contact with your ex. Use this time apart to think about what went wrong and reflect about these things. It is not only you that thinks about what happened to the relationship. Your ex will do that, too, and maybe good things can come from this break.

By any means, do not try to scare off your ex. Do not act according to your impulses of kicking your partner out. Instead, be flexible and try to understand that the breakup happened because something was not to his or her liking. On the other hand, do not let yourself trapped in being the one conceding to everything, but do your part in building up the channels of communication.

You are without a partner, but that does not mean you are alone. You still have your friends that can help you change a little the air. So go out and have some fun, as it is not the end of the world.

Always think about your qualities and don’t forget who you are. You are that special person that you were even if you are no longer in a relationship, just the fact that your ex loved you is proof of this.

Some things did change, and some things did not, but you should always remember what makes you unique. Being self confident and having a positive self image will have a positive result on other’s impression. Don’t be afraid of being yourself!

There are many chances that your ex comes back to you if you assume the right attitude. It may take time and a lot of determination, but if this is what you want, it is worth it. Be prepared to get your ex back.

How To Handle The “Other Guy”, Part 1

Competition from other men is often a crippling issue in their attempts to gain a woman’s attention.

Let’s face it - if the girl is somewhat attractive, chances are that you’re not the only guy striving for her affections.

And the reality is - some guys just can’t HANDLE the idea of competition!

As soon as they see another guy talking to the girl they like, if he’s in any way better looking than they are, they’ll just GIVE UP.

Seriously. They will step aside and give the other guy all the time he needs to move in on their girl.

Either that, or the guy will get really jealous and insecure, and directly challenge the competition.

That’s far worse because it shows the girl exactly how insecure you are.

So what’s a guy to do?

Well, the first thing is to realize that there is NO SUCH THING as competition from other men.

This might sound strange to you, but hear me out…

You guys aren’t in a race for a gold metal here. When it comes to affections of the heart, there are no true winners. It is possible for a girl to be attracted to more than one man at the same time.

So in that sense, even if a new guy shows up, you’re not completely out in the cold.

Even so, you will NEED to keep some of the focus on you so you can create attraction.

In part two of this article, I’ll show you how to come out on top in this situation.

How Setting Goals Can Help You Pick Up Girls

If it’s your desire to become a pickup artist, then you should probably ignore the archetype propagated by the entertainment industry. You don’t have to be a sleaze or a clown to attract a pretty girl.

In actuality, you can attract a beautiful woman with a bit of preparation. It’s not as hard as you might think, and it’s fun.

You can never really know when a pickup is going to go well, but there are ways you can prepare. So here are some steps for success BEFORE you go out picking up women!

When you go to a place where you know there will be attractive women, make the decision that you’re actually going to pick them up!

Too often, guys will go out with no real goal in mind. And guess what? When you have no outcome in mind - you’ll usually end up with NOTHING.

But if you go out with a specific goal, your chances of achieving that goal go up DRAMATICALLY.

It doesn’t matter if it’s as simple as “Talk To One Woman Tonight,” or as ambitious as “Find The Woman Of Your Dreams.”

As long as you have a goal, your chances of picking up a girl will increase substantially.

You don’t even have to be GOING OUT to pick up women. Maybe you’re visiting a food court in mid-afternoon because you’re feeling hungry, and you know you’ll spot at least one attractive woman there who you could see later.

You may or may not succeed in your quest, but you’re much more likely to have a positive outcome if you go with the mindset that you can pull off a successful pickup.

Always take a pen and paper, or at least your cell phone, wherever you go. You’ll need it for when you exchange numbers with women. Be sure to keep a condom with you, too, just in case! Knowing that you have protection on hand is just one more thing that will keep you from chickening out.

Remember: Do Not Give Yourself An Excuse NOT To Pick Up Women!

If you give yourself more reasons to NOT do something, it will, in fact become more difficult to do.

Let’s face it - you’ve been making excuses not to pick up women every day. How has that been working for you?

Probably not.

Listen: Picking up women successfully is about being mentally prepared to engage someone socially.

If you are thinking about all the things that CAN go wrong, if you’re obsessing over everything about yourself that ISN’T attractive, if you’re looking for excuses NOT to try and pick up the girl…

Guess what?

Chances are - YOU’RE NOT GOING TO PICK HER UP!

That is why you simply need to mentally prepare yourself for the pickup. NO EXCUSES!

Visualize a positive outcome. Focus on all you have to offer a girl. Be fun, friendly, and open. But most importantly - TALK TO HER!

Don’t let the opportunity pass you by. Even if you have a “bad feeling” or are nervous, just think of it as a “practice run” to help get you warmed up.

Know your environment. When you meet a girl you like, you’ll want to get together with her soon - preferably the same day, while her attraction for you is still high. Be aware of good places nearby where you can “bounce” to, like bars, coffee houses, lounges, art galleries, or other fun place where you and your “target” can have a change of scenery.

You’ll want to go to a place that’s low-key enough so you can get to know each other better. When you bounce from one location to another, it’s like you’re going on another date. Why wait for another week to pass by to take her on another date so you can build comfort with her, when you know you can do it on the same day?

Have a place in mind where you can become intimate with her. If you live nearby and you can bring her home, so much the better.

Have an excuse to take her home that has nothing to do with lovemaking. You can have a DVD that she’s never seen but has to see, or an exotic drink she’s never tried, or some photos you’ve taken of a place where you’ve been that she’s never seen.

Or you can play her a song that you’ve written. It doesn’t matter, as long as it makes her comfortable enough to come over!

All in all, you need to TAKE ACTION! If you are prepared for success, you can make it happen easier. So stop with the excuses, and go get her!

How To Accommodate The “Other Guy”, Part 2

In part one I explained how interactions with other men usually happens, and how most men deal with it poorly.

What’s the right course of action then?

The key to dealing with other men moving in on your girl is LEADERSHIP. The ability to take control of the situation in a way that is not overbearing, needy, or insecure.

Doing things as simple as…

*Befriending the guy

*Taking control of the conversation

*Being more interesting than the guy

*Make her laugh

The key to all of this is that you want to take CONTROL of the interaction. From there you can direct it.

A woman will respond to you if you are the one who is in control.

So even if your “competition” is better looking, younger, richer, (or whatever) than you - it doesn’t matter! Because in the end, YOU’RE the one the girl will follow.

Keep in mind that the ability to build your social status, to help others have a good time, to be more fun, funny, and interesting than the next guy - these are all aspects of control.

These facets of your personality will give you the power to lead the social dynamic of any group you choose.

And when YOU are the leader, guess what?

THERE IS NO COMPETITION.

Every other guy around you is a follower. And girls, instinctually, are drawn to guys who are in charge.

Some Simple Steps for Making Up

Many guys react to a break up with the usual mistakes: they try to call their ex all day even when they recive no answer, they spy on their gilfriends trying to find out what she is doing or worse, they get drunk and call her at three in the morning to try to get her back. None of those work, but here are three simple steps you should use to start making up with your ex girlfriend.

Agree with the break up. What you are telling your ex girlfriend is that you have moved on and you are over her. This will make you more interesting to her. Even if this is hard for you, do it. This is just the beginning.

You know this isn’t true, but your ex will feel attracted to you again because she will think that she can’t have you.

If you give her the impression that she can’t have you back, you will notice how her reactions change and she will start wanting you more. This is because everybody wants what they can’t have. Remain cool at all times and she will be more attracted to you.

Do not call her after that first phone call or meeting after you let her know you’re ok with the breakup. The longer you don’t talk to her after the initial impression that you’re no longer interested in her and have moved on, the more and more she’ll want you back.

When she senses that you’ve moved on and aren’t interested, 95% of the time she will want to get back to you. You must display confidence and independence from her when you initially speak to her. The better you do this, the better the effect and the longer you do not call her after, the more she will want you back. She’ll call, you’ll see (if you do it right).

Keep the impression that you’re not interested going. Even if your ex does call you and claims that she wants to get back together, don’t just jump right in, keep the hard to get, independent and not interested vibe going. So even if she does call and asks to meet up, agree to it, but if she tries to make a move, keep away from it, resist and act as though you aren’t interested. Trust me, this will build up and she will want you even more.

With these simple steps you have arisen her interest and she will be more receptive when you start your real plan to win your ex girlfriend back.

Dealing With Rejection, Part 1

If there’s one thing every single guy on the face of the planet has experienced at one time or another,it’s rejection.

Who hasn’t fallen for a girl, only to find out that she doesn’t feel the same way about you?

Indeed, rejection can be extremely painful to experience. It’s almost as if every time a girl gives you the brush off, she’s saying there’s something wrong with you!

And let’s face it - nobody likes to feel like they aren’t good enough.

Most men handle this in ways that only worsen the situation.

Normally they’ll run from it, or get angry over it.

When facing rejection, a common strategy, which is probably the WORST thing you can do, is this: go along with whatever she feels and deceive her into thinking you aren’t interested.

This usually leads to the “just being her friend” gambit, where the lovelorn man pretends to be the girl’s friend, just so he can somehow try and desperately salvage the situation.

But as we all know, this trick rarely, if ever, works.

So what are your options? Well, you could just walk away and look for a girl who is more open to you. Or, you can try and turn that rejection into attraction.

So say you don’t want to just walk away. Be ready for some hard work on your part.
